History
The Varna Swimming Club was founded in 2008 by Stancho Velkov – with a love for water, a vision for development and a mission to raise champions not only in sports but also in life. The foundations of the club were laid by him, together with a team of enthusiasts and professionals, united around one cause – for Varna to once again have a strong sports club with traditions and a future.

Since 2015, Varna Swimming Club has established itself as the leading water polo club in Bulgaria, with numerous titles in various age groups, including championship teams and regular national competitors. These successes are the result of a long-term strategy, professionalism and dedication of the coaching team.

Nowadays
In 2024, the club received recognition and was invited to become part of the oldest and most emblematic sports name in Varna - "SPARTAK", marking the beginning of a new stage in the development of swimming sports and water polo in the city.
Today, Spartak Varna, led by long-time coach Nayden Naydenov, is not just a sports club - it is a community that fosters values such as responsibility, teamwork and respect. The club is an environment for growth, friendships and a healthy spirit - a champion both in the pool and in life.
